Insurance Information

While students are not required to have health insurance it is strongly recommended. Each student is responsible to know his or her own insurance specifics. Questions that are good to answer before coming to campus are:

  • What does your insurance policy cover?
  • Do you need a referral or pre-authorization before obtaining health care?
  • Can you see any physician or only certain physicians?
  • How are claims filed?
  • What are your policy & group numbers?

If you are an uninsured consider visiting healthcare.gov/contact-us to learn more about getting coverage.
