Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but Lancaster Bible College is already getting into the Christmas spirit. The 2024 LBC Christmas tree arrived at the main campus on Monday, Nov. 18, and preparations are underway for lighting, décor and more.
This year’s annual LBC Christmas tree lighting ceremony is on the calendar for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at the Koinonia Circle at the center of campus. Building upon the event theme of “Light of the World,” LBC President Dr. Tommy Kiedis will speak to attendees and lead the group in the lighting of prayer candles.
Students from the college’s Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department will then lead in the singing of Christmas carols before the official countdown to the lighting. Christmas cookies, hot cocoa and coffee will be available—just in case the evening is extra chilly. Snacks begin at 6 p.m., with the program kicking off at 6:30 p.m.
LBC alumni and their families are invited to attend! Please let Alumni Relations know you are coming by signing up at this form.
