by LBC Marketing

Lancaster Bible College will host the 2024 Evangelical Homiletics Society (EHS) Annual Meeting on Oct. 17-19. With the theme of “Preaching and the Arts,” the three-day event will welcome college and seminary professors as well as seminary and doctoral students from around North America and across the world.

""Dr. Casey Barton, LBC’s Director of the Pastoral Ministry Program within the School of Bible & Ministry, is helping to organize the event and is working to create a space for LBC faculty and staff alongside local artists to be able to present their art and speak about their process of creating art for God’s glory. LBC Pastoral Ministry students will also be involved with the conference in various ways.

The regular admission is $175 for EHS members and $200 for non-members, but those affiliated with LBC (student, faculty, staff or alumnus) or those who serve at a church in the Lancaster area, are invited to attend free of charge. To receive the free attendance code or a discounted meals-only code, email Barton at cbarton@lbc.edu.

For a conference plenary session, Barton will host a Q&A session with the keynote speaker, the Rev. Dr. Paul Scott Wilson.
