Matt Greiner, better known as the drummer for popular hardcore band August Burns Red, took a break from the band’s world tour to speak at Lancaster Bible College. His message, called, “Tremendous Hurt, Relentless Love,” focused on a passage from Isaiah 41:10. He also demonstrated his world-renowned drumming skills for the students before he shared his message. This is not the first time the college has connected with Greiner and the band. In 2014, Lancaster Bible College’s choir, under the direction of Dr. Robert Bigley, contributed vocals to August Burns Red’s rendition of “Oh Holy Night” on the band’s Christmas album, Sleddin’ Hill. The YouTube video of the song has racked up over 200,000 views.
