The Lancaster Bible College Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department will host an Audition Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 9, to help musicians of all ages learn the art of auditioning.
Attendees will work with LBC’s award-winning music faculty and local professionals in order to prepare for Pennsylvania Music Education Association district auditions, college auditions, or community and youth ensemble auditions.
Highlights of the two-hour workshop include the following:
- How to perform with confidence in an audition: Gain practical tips on how to excel during auditions.
- Performing with artistry: Receive expert guidance on refining musical pieces to achieve performance excellence.
- Tips and tricks for mastering scales
- Mock audition
The cost for the workshop is $25, and reservations and payment may be made at lbc.edu/events.
