Lancaster Bible College offers ONLINE doctoral programs designed to combine theological understanding (orthodoxy) with practical application (orthopraxy). Our cohort-based programs aim to prepare ministry leaders and industry professionals for meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

At Lancaster Bible College’s doctoral level, online courses either span the traditional 16-week semester or an 8-week subterm and include the following key components:
Complete learning activities & assignments online within Canvas, our learning management system.
Receive class instruction asynchronously and exclusively within Canvas. Most online courses have a live meeting component where students either attend live (synchronously) or watch the recorded meeting.
Through face-to-face or virtual learning experiences students collaborate and network with their cohort and faculty.

Biblical Studies (PhD) | 60 credits | 16 weeks | Students will participate in 3 face-to-face times a year for one week (6 full days) for a total of three weeks for the entire year. |
Leadership (PhD) | 60 credits | 16 weeks | Students will participate in 2 face-to-face times a year for one week (6 full days) for a total of 2 weeks for the entire year. |
Ministry (DMin) | 34 credits | 16 weeks | Students will participate in online weekly 3-hour segments of synchronous learning via Zoom as the residency requirement. |
