Tara Kenkelen is a free lance violinist in the Lancaster area. She has performed with the Lancaster, Reading and Harrisburg Symphonies. She currently is principal second violinist of Allegro Orchestra of Lancaster. Tara graduated from Temple University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in violin performance where she studied with Helen Kwalwasser. She has been teaching in her home studio since 2001 and at Lancaster Bible College since 2020. Tara has also been concert master and mentor in the Lancaster Bible College orchestra since 2018. She lives in Lancaster with her husband and four children.
