Stephen Brown, EdD

Stephen Brown currently serves as Associate Professor of Social Work at Lancaster Bible College. Prior to coming to LBC, he was an Associate Professor at California Baptist University as well as a Student Services administrator at Mt. San Antonio College. He has taught masters-level social work courses at Azusa Pacific University and California State University Los Angeles, and undergraduate courses at Chapman University. Dr. Brown has extensive experience in the areas of social policy development, student retention, diversity and social justice as well as student equity. Dr. Brown has served as a presenter/panelist at several conferences through research he conducted dealing with the issue of African American male achievement, student athlete success, as well as graduation/retention.
