Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) msche.org. LBC | Capital’s accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on April 18, 2018, was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s and Doctoral levels. The ABHE Commission on Accreditation’s recognition with the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) includes certificates, diplomas, associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degrees, including doctoral degrees. The Commission’s scope of recognition with the U.S. Department of Education does not include doctoral education.
