IBE

Continuing Education through LBC:
The Institute of Biblical Enrichment

The IBE program offers non-college credit courses designed to provide you opportunities for enrichment personally, vocationally, culturally, and spiritually. Classes are presented in a non-competitive, informal atmosphere where interest in continued learning is the main consideration. Courses are taught by LBC approved faculty and community resource persons, and are open to the community. The IBE program also offers special certificate programs where a student can take a concentration of courses in areas like biblical studies, youth ministry, and counseling.

LBC offers the IBE student the opportunity to earn nationally recognized, non-college credits known as Continuing Education Unit credits (CEUs) for their academic study. One CEU is awarded for each ten hours of class instruction and learning experience based on approximately 75% of class attendance. A permanent record of each student’s CEU attainment is kept on file, and transcripts will be forwarded upon request. IBE's CEUs are not transferable to degree programs.

The Institute of Biblical Enrichment program offers various evening and weekend courses in several campus locations throughout Lancaster, Coatesville, Elizabethtown, and York. Check our IBE Registration Booklet the details of this semester's courses.

IBE is a great way for you to gain personal enrichment and knowledge without the academic rigors.
